  • "Our recent stay at this property was excellent. The apartment is clean, bright, modern and spacious, everything you need is catered for. The apt looks out onto the pool and then golf course, perfect vista. The balcony is large and comfortable and access to the pool is direct. The parking space was really useful and the sunbeds provided for use round the pool were really comfortable. The La Torre Golf Resort has all you need for a relaxing stay including a supermarket, newsagents, restaurants and bars. The pool for our apt was very clean and well maintained and a lovely temperature. At any time there were only ever 4 or 5 other groups using the pool which was lovely and very comfortable. The site is beautifully kept and very smart. The golf club restaurant served an excellent English breakfast and a wide choice of other meals. We flew from Southend (we live near) to Alicante, the drive from there was approx. 45mins and very easy to find. We travelled to Murcia one evening which is a lovely town and vibant with good shopping and restaurants, lots of cafes in plazas. We also visited Las Alcazares which was a real holiday town and had an excellent choice of restaurants. We ate in Hemingways - it was very good. Roldan has a few good restaurants although we did not eat here. The Italian restaurant on site has excellent Sangria and a really nice atmosphere and food. We went on a 5 day break with no teenagers (left at home!) It was the perfect destination for a restful break, we could not fault it. The balcony was an ideal location to sit and relax in the late afternoon and evening sun whilst enjoying the view of the golf course and sunset. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provided excellent customer service and comprehensive information about the apartment, the resort and the local area. They additionally provided a book and DVD library, free wi-fi and discounted resident rates for the golf courses - all of which were added and helpful benefits. We were lucky enough to have warm sunny days for most of the break, which provided us with the ideal opportunity to visit the local beaches and golf courses.
